I had been doing pretty much everything except the main quest for a while, so I was high level and loaded for bear. There's been several moments, but one in particular scared the crap out of me simply due to being so damn unexpected. found in the smoldering ruins of the family's house.next to one more body. Not only at who isn't around him, but also towards the defenseless Brahmin. Obviously suffering from insane trauma left by their deceased parents (who were killed by the child's hands!) and being alone in the Wasteland, the child shows signs of paranoia.
The third diary page by a truck details the child's descent into madness. The second note talked about the child left the farm to search for the parents. The two parents left a lone child at the farm to seek help at nearby Camp Searchlight ( crap, the radiated camp). The brief diary pages paint a terrible and grim picture of the former inhabitants. Thinking to myself why no one is here (save for a Brahmin or two walking around), I begin to read the diary pages, which explain why it's abandoned. Then I noticed a few diary pages scattered around the area one on the stairs to one of the farmhouses, another in the other farmhouse and one by a truck outside. Nothing noteworthy, other than a Wasteland Survival Guide for my troubles. No enemies present, so I catch a brief breather before examining the farm houses. So it's extra quiet and I'm wandering around when I see a pair of farm houses in the distance.Įquipping my gun, I checked out the immediate farm area being the explorer I am. I was walking around the Mojave Wasteland sometime during the night, so it's dark and eerily quiet this particular time, I was playing FNV without the radio on.
